Herbs Class Description
In this part demo-part hands on class, students will utilize 3-4 different herbs for both food (think fresh pesto) and drink recipes (Mojitos). Herbs include Basil, Fennel, Sage, Lavender & Mint. After completion of food preparation, we will sit down for a meal together.
Classes at Gisela’s Haus are designed to introduce you to new foods and techniques. We also place importance on getting together with other humans where we share food and conversation.
Classes are usually 2 hours long. You will be standing and active for most of the time. Wear comfortable shoes.
You will be working with another student. We will match you up if needed. PLEASE don’t let this deter you from coming alone. Meeting new people is half the fun!
Pull long hair back in a tie.
Aprons are provided.
Water and tea will be available. You may bring your own alcoholic beverage if so inclined.
Alterations to recipes for food allergies cannot be made the day of class.
