Join instructor Kelly Mendenhall—who has crafted thousands of caramels—as she guides you through preparing and packaging this irresistible confection. You’ll leave with a beautifully wrapped creation, perfect to gift or enjoy yourself.

WHAT TO EXPECT

At Gisela’s Haus, our classes are designed to spark your creativity, introduce you to new foods and techniques, and bring people together over good conversation and shared experiences.

This is a hands-on class that runs about 2 hours. You’ll be on your feet most of the time, so we recommend comfortable shoes. Aprons are provided, and long hair should be tied back.

Most classes are partner-based, but don’t worry if you’re attending solo—we’ll pair you up, and you might even make a new friend!

Water and tea will be available, and you’re welcome to bring your own alcoholic beverage if you’d like. Please note: we’re unable to make recipe alterations for food allergies on the day of class.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

Want to create soft, chewy caramels that melt in your mouth? In this 2-hour, hands-on class, instructor Kelly Mendenhall—who has made thousands of caramels—will guide you step-by-step. You’ll learn the importance of a candy thermometer, proper cutting techniques, and the art of rolling and wrapping.

At the end, you’ll leave with a full batch to cut at home, along with beautifully wrapped caramels—perfect to share, gift, or keep all to yourself.
